Metro to the Rose Bowl and some great happy hours
Drinking and driving isn’t cool

Free beer
Come bribe YT
Bribes, kickbacks, pork and insider information for stock trading. Those are the kinds of angles that make people rich. Just look at Congress and all their friends. What a racket!
And that’s why YT is running for Congress, expect on a platform of honesty. Of course, YT will accept bribes and kickbacks. And Pork? Yes, YT ain’t kosher. And for fans, a special insider information newsletter for guaranteed stock market returns — for a monthly cost of course. YT has to get his, man.
Anyway, become part of the YY for Congress campaign. Stop by The York in Highland Park today between 12:15 and 1:15 PM, yell “YT for Congress” and I’m buying your first two drinks ($20 limit per person).
Can’t make it? This is just the first of many campaign stops. So stay tuned for more events.

I can smell the bakery from here.

But another great stop is El Super for some fresh made bolillos. (more…)

A Highland Park landmark
Still a great selection of beer, soda and some pretty good sandwiches

But I continue to go, even despite some poor customer service — although that was many years ago. (more…)
